Setting[]

Ovium: Darkest Before Dawn[]

The game appears almost exactly the same as the other Ovium games however in place of the Bath Room in Miracle to the Max and Map area of Ovium is the Index Lines area.

Ovium[]

In Ovium Tartarus consists of a Map Chamber (location like the film which contains a miniature planet which at times is accessible according to Eris though is never open for access in the game) the sand dunes area which have primary sublocations: The Undead Pit, The Beast Top and Sweltering Sands and the last primary location being Eris' Throne. Tartarus' sandy dune areas are present also in Miracle to the Max and Darkest Before Dawn which serves as a battlefield area for when the character enters Eris' tournaments where the character must fight legions of different varieties of Ova's, Grimhawks, sometimes Star Ocean characters, Eris' monsters and sometimes Eris herself.

Ovium: Miracle to the Max[]

The world features a large bath area which can used to access locations such as: The Siren's Whirpool, Angler Tunnels and Ice Chasm Area.

These locations provide drastic expansions to the world of Tartarus.

Story[]

Ovium: Darkest Before Dawn[]

"Your Lying!"

-Eris to Sinbad upon playing Path of Truth Game Eeros is the only protagonsit character from Darkest Before Dawn who visits the world Tartarus. He visits it exactly at the point where a pirate named Sinbad and an accompanying Princess named Moria enter the world determined to seek out an apparent Goddess Of Discord named Eris.

Eeros refrains from approaching Sinbad and Moria and instead resorts to following them to see what is going on.

He follows them up until a group of strange creatures fall from the sky and land before Sinbad and Mori Eeros jumps out in the fray to assist and him and Sinbad both do battle with all the creatures until they are called off by Eris who materializes.

Sinbad and Moria demand for the Book of Peace but Eris retorts with a bargain.

One of them must engage in her tournament of Chaos (only one) and Sinbad himself must play a certain honesty game of hers. Sinbad offers to enter himself in the tournament against Moria's wishes as the tournament could end up killing him then they'll never get the book.

Eeros however volunteers to be the participant in the tournament. Eeros fights his way through all rounds of the Tournament Of Chaos and then joins Sinbad and Moria for Eris' final challenge: An honesty game she cals the Path Of Truth.

She asks Sinbad one simple question: If fails to get to the book would he go back to the world Siracous to die for his on trial friend Proteous of whom they came all this way to gain the book for.

Sinbad answers with he will and all of a sudden the platforms holding him, Eeros and Moria up begin to crumble as Eris appears and claims he has lied.

Eeros, Sinbad and Moria try to jump ahead to make it back to Eris' throne room however the platforms collapse to quickly.

The next thing Eeros knows his he ends up automatically back in the throne room without Sinbad and Moria and begins to be questioned by Eris who seems interested knowing he is an outsider.

Eeros becomes enraged at Eris though claiming Sinbad answered her question correctly and the book of peace should be given back to him.

Eris argues the point claiming he didn't and Eeros raises his Fire Sword on her.

A boss battle intiates and once Eris is defeated Eris becomes angry and tells Eeros to see for himself exactly what Sinbad will do now that he doesn't possess the book of peace.

Eeros then ends up in a Tartarus bath like room with lots of bubbles containing images of locations and indivuals.

Eris then materializes and takes one bubble with the image of a city:

She tells Eeros that the bubbles contain with them simulations of all that there is and the bubble she holds in her black hand contains the simulations of the world Siracous where Sinbad and Princess Moria are suppose to head.

Eeros comes to the simulation of Siracous where he gets to see what's actually happening in the world of Siracous.

He is invisible to all the others however.

He sees Proteous be prepped for execution until with the swing a blade Sinbad appears to take his place.

Eris appears within an instant to save Sinbad from execution.

She is enraged as she made Sinbad a promise that should he answer honestly she would give him the book. Him returning proves he answered the quesiton honestly and she hands the book back.

Eris then wipes the others out of the simulation and prepares to take out her rage on Eeros planning to annilahate him to put her in a good mood from she has apparently robbed off by a now good hearted robbing pirate.

Eeros defeats Eris yet again though this time in her giant form on the Siracous Pier Bridge simulation.

She gives an evil goodbye to Eeros upon failing to kill him claiming that when the time comes she assumes control of all worlds he will actually meet his demise.
